Nepal National Center for Rheumatic Diseases

National Center for Rheumatic diseases was founded in 2013 in Katmandu, Nepal. National Center for Rheumatic Diseases (NCRD) is a very first kind of specialized clinic in Nepal, dealing with diagnosis & treatment of diseases affecting joints and connective tissues as well as auto-immune diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Lupus, Scleroderma, Ankylosing spondylitis, and Osteoarthritis.

Virtual consult was started in May 2016 via Skype using iPad. Patients are seen along with specialists at the center weekly. Patients are seen Sunday afternoons between hours of 2 till 3 pm. The time and dates will expand based on the clinic needs.

Virtual Consult is a free service of Teachmemedicine.org and is provided to both our partner clinics as well as to other rural clinics and hospitals located outside of the United States.
