• Recording information gathered from the physician during the examination
• Assisting in the physical movement of patients during procedures
• Ensuring all instruments and supplies are available for the physician’s use during the examination
• Providing emotional and physical comfort for the patient during the examination
• Conducting one’s self in a polite and professional manner at all times with patients
