Collecting Laboratory Samples
This duty entails the following:
- Drawing and collecting blood samples from the patients
- Properly storing and treating blood samples that are to be tested within a laboratory
- Collecting urine samples from the patients
- Properly storing and treating urine samples that are to be tested within a laboratory
- Dealing gently with and communicating sensitively with patients during collection of blood and urine samples
- Conducting one’s self in a polite and professional manner at all times with patients
