Determination of Viable Treatment Options
This duty entails the following:
- Using the knowledge gained from course material, information from the patient examination performed, and the diagnosis made, determine treatment options for the patient
- Disclose all treatment options in a sensitive and gentle manner
- Discuss side effects and potential risks for the treatment option with the patient
- Conducting one’s self in a polite and professional manner at all times with patients
