Removing Sutures/Changing Dressings

This duty entails the following:

Removal of sutures or staples from a laceration
Changing of dressings for affected area
Dealing gently with and communicating sensitively with patients during the removal of sutures and dressings
Conducting one’s self in a polite and professional manner at all times with patients
