Rural Practitioner Program

This is a program designed to help you learn and fulfill the duties of a rural practitioner, or community health worker. These include clinical duties, such as diagnosing patients’ various common medical problems, providing viable treatment options for patients, and various clinical tasks such as taking blood pressure, giving vaccinations, and many others. Other duties include water sanitation/purification processes, as well as the providing of women and child care by carrying out of a vaccination schedule for children and performing routine obstetrics/gynecology appointments for the female patients. The duties of a rural practitioner also may include application of knowledge of sanitation in order to provide a sterile and healthy environment for the patients. Learn more about the program →
